On the business side you have to ASK God “tell me what to do!” This is how I prayed coming into this business. I wasn’t leaning on chance but being intentional about having God’s oils to work through me.
I wanted to focus on the key areas of my customers, products and services, the impact our (God & I) business has on the world and especially the legacy and impact we can leave.
According to ancient documentations, you would have found essential oils used by kings and queens as medicine and were often more costly than gold or silver. God’s oils have provided us with the food based medicine of essential oils that are powerful without the dangerous side effects of synthetic chemicals and pills. Throughout the different cultures oils were a vital component in their everyday lives.
The Egyptians uses herbs for distillation methods dating back 3,500 B.C. It’s been discovered that King Tut’s tomb contained 350 liters of essential oils in alabaster jars. Cleopatra, famous for her beauty and charm, own the first spa near the Dead Sea using the oils.
As referenced in the Bible, the holy anointing oil was used when someone went to the priest for healing. Moses used oils to anoint and protect the Israelites. Oils such as: aloe, Cassia, Frankincense, Galbanum, Hyssop, Spikenard, Cedarwood, Myrrh, and many more. Should we still be using God’s oils?
Hippocrates utilized aromatherapy to enhance message techniques a few centuries before the coming of Christ.
It’s well known that the 3 wise men gave the infant king of Israel gifts of gold to honor his royalty, Frankincense as a perfume, and myrrh for anointing oil.
Do you suppose that these precious, costly items were to double as potential medical remedies?
Frankincense was used to support the immune system and fight infection. Myrrh has been known to help healing after pregnancy and support hormonal health.
Why pure therapeutic essential oil are so powerful because they are composed of very small molecules that can penetrate your cells and some compounds can even cross the blood barrier.
Did you ever wonder why it’s mention in the bible more than 100 times? Did God mean for us to continue using them? Is there a connection between oils used in the temple and oils we use on a daily basis for our own health?
These are questions we need to ponder and be honest with ourselves. Will God’s oils work?
