Every Day Gift

Every Day Gift
How often do we just either give up or take someone else’s word for something and not even try because it didn’t work for them? You can apply this to any area of your life and just about anything? Start changing your thinking about what is possible, because every day is a gift.
I just want to show everyone that you don’t have to sit and die just because you get old. We might want to revisit childhood to reinvent “happy places”, but we need to embrace our lives now. Find the things that spark your interest and go with it. I find valor makes the challenges easier to handle.
Life has so much to offer that it heeds us to look around us to keep up with new innovation. If we tried something and don’t grasp it or succeed, it’s not the end of the world. Don’t get discourage because every day is a gift. Every day is a new day to go forward to try and look for a new challenge.
We will have up-and-downs; we will have the wisdom gained from the experiences and by the comfort that comes from having a better understanding of who we are as individuals. Like where you are and look forward to the years ahead.
Become volunteers, philanthropists, supporters and leaders of your communities to lend a hand to your neighbors and friends. Become a generation of makers and doers who continue to explore possibilities. Live life on your own terms; make a difference because experience has value. Don’t be defined or defeated by your failures or challenges because every day is a gift.
Don’t think of aging as a process of deterioration, dependency, reduced potential. This produces negative understanding that make the process of aging something to be dreaded and fought against, rather than embraced as a process that brings new opportunities and challenges.
Think of aging as growth with new opportunities to be contributors for the betterment of ourselves and society.
Remember aging is just living. We can’t withdraw from society because we become a certain age. Some aspects of life get a little tougher as you go along and some get a little easier, but it’s all part of being alive. Never think you are too old to start something new. So what if you don’t get it right away or it takes you a little longer to grasp the concept, keep trying because every day is a gift.
